14 Impressive Parallax Scrolling Website Showcase – Inspiration

Javascript Parallax Effect was first introduced as simple mousemove effect which multiple transparent PNG background images are stacked on top of each other, and on mouse move, it would move each layer in different speed interval thus creating depth of field and unique animation effect. Nowadays, there are a huge breakthrough and creativity in using Parallax effect. It uses scrollbar, as the user scroll through the page, once it reaches certain section, it will trigger a series of animation and also parallax effect made by multiple background images. We have collected 14 awesome example, some of them are really mind blowing and we're certainly amazed by it's smooth animation, creativity and concept behind it.
