When you’re designing the layout of a blog, you want everything to flow together nicely and for each element to suit the theme of the site. But, when it comes to the social buttons that you include, it can be tricky to find buttons that look good together and don’t clash with the rest of the site. It’s a difficult balance – you want icons that will stand out and be noticeable (if they can attract attention, it’s more likely that it will gently encourage the reader the share it), but if it stands out too much or doesn’t suit the theme, then it can look out of place and be distracting.
We’ve brought together a showcase of beautifully designed, completely free social media icons that you can use for your own blog – including a Pinterest icon set (at the end) that we had designed especially to help you promote your content. Hopefully you’ll find them useful for your next design project.
And finally, here’s our Pinterest icon set that we’re offering free for both commercial and personal projects.
